Agencourt is also up with NEB & so is Cell Signalling Technologies (spin-out from NEB). The I-495 ring has a few companies as well but is even sparser. Along the Mass Pike there's a bunch in Framingham/Marlborough/etc -- starting to edge into Worcester.

Outside that, I'm sure there's stuff but it's sparse. The Cape, probably for good reasons (really high cost of living, bottlenecks getting on) lacks much beyond the Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratory. West of Worcester, I can't think of anything -- but I'd welcome pointers to my ignoranceKeith Robisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04765318239070312590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36768584.post-86357485484436297252008-05-21T10:21:00.000-04:002008-05-21T10:21:00.000-04:00The conditions that favor biotech tend to be in Bo...The conditions that favor biotech tend to be in Boston, Cambridge and some surrounding areas -- with Worcester (about 1 hour away) the one other large outpost. Everyone feels that anyone closer to Boston is getting a better deal than they are.

Well, New England Biolabs is up in Ipswich on the North Shore, deep in the heart of Lovecraft Country...Jonathan Badgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04921990886076027719noreply@blogger.com
